Yesterday Apple announced new red versions of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus handsets. The red iPhone will be available worldwide on 24th March with some of the proceeds going to the RED organization that supports AIDS prevention and research. Apple has released red versions of its products as part of its (PRODUCT) RED program for over 10 years, with this being the first red iPhone. Apple says it has raised $130 million for RED so far as part of the program. The red iPhones will only be available with 128GB and 256GB storage options.

Apple also doubled the iPhone SE storage capacities to 32GB and 128GB respectively. Prior to the update, the entry-level device started with 16GB of built-in storage, with a more expensive option boosting that to 64GB.

On the iPad front a new 9.7 inch unit has been announced and it will be available as of Friday. Cost wise the new iPad starts at £339 for the 32GB version with Wi-Fi, increasing to £469 if you want a cellular connection. The units will be available in space grey, silver and gold.
